Financial Advisor Fees in Toledo
Transparent Pricing for Financial Planning
and Investment Management
WHAT WILL I ACTUALLY PAY ?
Our advisory fee schedule is disclosed upfront, so you can understand how we are compensated before deciding to work with us. We do not receive commissions from product sales.
WHY DOES HOW WE'RE PAID MATTER ?
Because we are fee-only, our compensation is not tied to product sales or referrals. Recommendations are based on your goals and financial situation.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR MY SITUATION ?
Planning fees reflect the scope and complexity of your needs. Investment management fees are based on assets we manage. When combined, you pay whichever ongoing fee is greater, not both.
Transparency Should Start Before the First Meeting
We are paid to help people make better financial decisions. We believe prospective clients should understand how we are compensated before scheduling a meeting. As an independent, fee-only fiduciary firm, our compensation comes directly from our clients rather than commissions or product sales.
Comparing financial advisor fees in Toledo should not require an introductory call. We publish our pricing so you can see what you may pay, what is included, and how fees may change as your needs or assets change before deciding whether to work with us.

Comprehensive Financial Planning + Investment Management
Wealth Management combines SMART Planning™ and SMART Investing™ in one coordinated advisory relationship.
An Initial Financial Planning Fee applies when we establish your planning relationship. After that, you pay one ongoing fee: either the SMART Planning™ fee or the asset-based investment management fee, whichever is greater. We do not add the two together.
For clients with $1 million or more managed by Ruiz Financial Group, SMART Planning™ is included at no additional ongoing charge.
How Wealth Management Fees Work
The two ongoing fees are not added together.

SMART Investing™
Investment Management Fee Schedule
SMART Investing™ may be used independently or as part of a Wealth Management relationship. The same asset-based fee schedule applies in either case. When combined with SMART Planning™, the Wealth Management fee structure described above determines the client’s total ongoing fee.
Our investment management fee schedule begins at 1.10% annually on the first $1 million and declines by asset tier, reaching 0.50% on assets over $5 million.
Fees are outlined in our Form ADV Part 2A. Please refer to your advisory agreement for complete terms.
Additional Planning for Existing Clients
For SMART Investing™ Clients
If you are not enrolled in SMART Planning™, you may occasionally request financial planning assistance for a specific need or decision. When appropriate, we may provide this work on a project basis, with the scope and fee agreed upon in advance.
For SMART Planning™ Clients
Most planning needs are included within your selected service level. Work that falls materially outside the agreed scope, such as specialized due diligence on an outside private investment, may involve an additional fee discussed in advance.
Project-based planning is available only to existing Ruiz Financial Group clients, including Wealth Management clients when work falls materially outside the agreed planning scope. It is not offered as a standalone service to the general public.
